OGUN LABOUR PARTY EXCOS DISSOLUTION : CANDIDATES APPEAL FOR REINSTATEMENT SAYS " WE STILL HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THEM "

All the candidates of LP in ogun state in all levels arising from a meeting today in Abeokuta unanimously agreed that they still have confidence with the dissolved EXCOS of LP in ogun state an action taken by the national EXCOS of labour Party owing to the crisis that have bedeviled the state wing .The candidates reaffirmed that it is this same people that have nurtured the party from the scratch to the present enviable heights , and gave it a structure from the state down to the polling units.

Said they, " these people now have representatives in every poling unit in ogun state and their names very familiar with the masses, trying to install a care taker committees at this point in time when the election is barely two months means starting afresh and might not be too good for our party. "

Continuing the candidates admitted that although the state EXCOS by error of omission or commission could not upload their names to the INEC portal as and when due but observed that it is still same people that painstakingly followed it up until court instructs that their names should be uploaded for listings stating that it is the same people that are in position to do the needful until victory is achieved for LP in ogun state.

The candidates appeals to the national EXCOS of labour Party and all the stakeholders to rescind its decisions to bring in a care taker committees to start afresh as that might spell doom for our party GOD forbid.

They concluded by passing a vote of confidence to the suspended state EXCOS begging all that were affected and or aggrieved to sheath their swords because to err is human but to forgive is divine
