 MESSAGE

The charge to win souls is not a suggestion, it is a command. In other words, it is not negotiable

Every true believer must carry a burning desire and burden to reach out to the unsave

If you love Jesus, you will preach His gospel to the lost because He does not desire the death of sinners, He wants every sinner saved (Ezekiel 18:23

“And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life

“Matthew 19:2

From the passage above, we see that God will generously reward everyone who participates in evangelism because they are in partnership with Hi

Not everybody can be a full-time evangelist, but in your little corner, you are to win souls, as well as supporting and praying for the full-time evangelists risking their lives to obey Gods mandate of preaching to the unsaved souls, visiting their families and encouraging them financiall

The work of missions is dear to Gods heart and ignoring it is ignoring H

“At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the lord, and it be sin unto thee

“Deuteronomy 24:1

God said you should not owe anyone their wages and 1 Corinthians 3:8-9 says those who are involved with missions are His labourer

In other words, the moment you begin evangelising, your name enters His payroll and believe me honestly, He will never owe you your wage

What exactly is your wage as an evangelis

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you

“John 15:1

The wage of an evangelist is a blank cheque from the richest being in the entire universe. If I were you, I would decide today to make soulwinning my lifestyl

 KEY POINT:

Pick up your phone and call somebody to tell them about Jesus Christ now and make this a habi

HYMNAL: I’VE A MESSAGE FROM THE LORD, HALLELUYA

Open Heaven Daily Devotional for Tuesday 7th July 2020 – We Are Going Higher: Worship

THEME – We Are Going Higher: Worship (Daily Devotional By Pastor E. A. Adeboye)

MEMORY VERSE:  John 4:23

But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

BIBLE READING: John 4:19-24

19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Worship draws God’s attention. In fact, today’s memory verse says that God is actively searching for true worshippers.

When Bartimaeus wanted to get the Lord’s attention, he called Him “Jesus, the son of David.” In Yoruba land where I come from, when you really want to get something from a man, you start by recounting his antecedents and achievements.

We have never needed God’s attention more than now, so this is the time to increase our worship of Him.

When you worship Him, He shows up in a great and unique way. In Acts 16:26, Paul and Silas worshipped Him and He showed up in an earthquake. In 2nd Chronicles 20:22, Jehoshaphat and his people worshipped the Most-High God and He made their enemies destroy one another.

When you are faced with a battle, deploy the weapon of worship and watch the mighty power of God make you victorious.

At a wedding in a perish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the groom fell and died just as he was about to sign the marriage register. The pastors began to cry to God in prayers for the young man’s life to be restored, but instead of coming alive, he got colder. Someone then remembered what

I had always taught about praises, so he told everyone to switch to praising God. They had only been doing so for a few minutes when God showed up; the groom came back to life and the wedding ceremony continued. God always shows up when we worship Him in Spirit and in truth. John 4:24 says:
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth.”

God loves to be worshipped. He wants to be called the Holy One of Israel, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Rock of Ages, The Mighty Man of war, the Lord of lords, the Lord Strong and Mighty, the Lord mighty in battle, the King of kings, the Almighty God. Go ahead; take some time now to worship Him from the depth of your hearth.

Action Point:
Commit to a lifestyle of worship – in spirit and in truth.
