Sarah Everard Murder: How Wayne Couzens admitted murder, kidnap and rape

Sarah Everard Murder: How Wayne Couzens admitted murder, kidnap and rape

Sarah Everard was handcuffed by her murderer as he pretended to arrest her for breaching Covid guidelines.

Met Police officer Wayne Couzens abducted her as she walked home from a friend's house in Clapham on 3 March.

Couzens showed his warrant card before restraining Ms Everard, 33, putting her in his hire car and driving away.

His sentencing hearing at the Old Bailey was told that her ordeal could be summarised as "deception, kidnap, rape, strangulation, fire".

The 48-year-old had worked on Covid patrols in January, the court heard, and so would have known the appropriate formal terms regarding potential breaches.

The whole kidnapping took less than five minutes.

Ms Everard was handcuffed at 21:34 GMT and four minutes later she was being driven to Dover, where Couzens transferred her to his own car.

Couzens then drove to a remote rural area he knew well, where he raped Ms Everard. The sexual predator had clocked off from a 12-hour shift that morning.

Prosecutor Tom Little QC said Couzens must have taken Ms Everard's mobile phone from her and removed the sim card, which he tried to destroy.

Ms Everard was described by a former long-term boyfriend as "extremely intelligent, savvy and streetwise" and "not a gullible person", the court heard.

He could not envisage her getting into a car with someone she did not know "unless by force or manipulation", Mr Little said.

The abduction was witnessed by a couple travelling past in a car, but they "assumed Ms Everard must have done something wrong", the court was told.

One of the witnesses described a woman on the pavement who appeared to have her left arm behind her back and "was in the process of giving her other arm behind her back" as a man in dark clothing handcuffed her.

Mr Little said they believed they were witnessing an undercover police officer arresting a woman.

The exact time Ms Everard was killed could not be determined, although she was dead - strangled with Couzens' police belt - by about 02:30 on 4 March, when he stopped for snacks at a service station.

He then visited Hoads Wood near Ashford, Kent, leaving just before sunrise. Later that morning, he threw Ms Everard's mobile phone into a channel at Sandwich, where it was found by a police diver.

Wayne Couzens shuffled into court his head bowed. Wearing a dark blue suit he confirmed his name.

Sarah's parents, and other family members, are in court listening to horrendous details about their daughter's kidnap, rape and murder.

In the public gallery many of her friends have also come to court to support them.

Three members of her family will read out statements this afternoon about how her murder has affected them.

The prosecutor said her murder was reported on social media as #shewasonlywalkinghome but the more appropriate five words to describe what Couzens did were "deception, kidnap, rape, strangulation and fire".

#HarassBuhariOutofLondon Still SEARCHING FOR BUHARI IN LONDON

#HarassBuhariOutofLondon Still SEARCHING FOR BUHARI IN LONDON

Nigerian President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari is in London and Nigerians in London are searching for him.  BUHARI MUST GO!.

The Country's Citizens are Searching for Buhari in UK as He Shuns Abuja House Over Protests

Buhari, who is currently in the United Kingdom, according to reports, has shunned the Abuja House where he usually stays in order to avoid the crowd of Nigerian protesters who have mobilised to the venue.

According to SaharaReporters some of the protesters said that Buhari, who left Nigeria on Monday to attend the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education (GPE) 2021-2025 in the UK, was not sighted at the Abuja House, raising suspicion that the President had diverted to a private mission.

Buhari’s spokesman, Femi Adesina, in a release on Monday had said the president would remain in London for two weeks to enable him undergo his earlier scheduled medical checkup.

“We are at the Abuja House in London; we have stationed here since Buhari left Nigeria to continue the #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon protests, because Nigerians cannot be suffering insecurity, bad governance and all and the President will be hibernating here.

“But Buhari did not come here. We don’t know where he is staying,” a source stated.

“Let Nigerians in London fish him out. We want to know where Buhari has privately gone to. He needs to know that Nigerians in UK are eager to meet him and send him back. He cannot escape our protests,” another London-based Nigerian stated.

Dear citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who are based in London,

#HarassBuhariOutofLondon needs your help. Since arriving London yesterday, Buhari has avoided Abuja House for fear of being harassed out of London. Please help us smoke him out. As you go about your daily activities, keep an eye out for him and report his location to us by reaching us on social media with the above hashtag.

Do your civic duty and let us chase this irresponsible tyrant back home to go and build hospitals for our people. If he has $1.9 billion to build a railway for his first cousins in Niger Republic at our expense, he definitely has more than enough money to build hospitals for ordinary Nigerians.

Thank you and may God bless you!

Why I Initiated The #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon Protest

Why I Initiated The #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon Protest

By Reno Omokri

This week’s #TheAlternative will be short. I am a bit exhausted, and I beg my loyal readers to cut me some slack. I flew into London on April 2, 2021 to lead the #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon protest, and I went there straight from the airport.

I did not eat, sleep, shower or rest. The President’s people called the City of London Police on me, and I was questioned. At the end of the questioning, which was streamed live to my followers, they announced with their mouths that I had committed no crime and that my protest was peaceful, orderly and within my rights.

In fact, after General Muhammadu Buhari’s people called the police on me that afternoon, I calmly asked the officer questioning me this question:

‘’Officer, has Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, ever come to Nigeria to access healthcare? So, why should you be called on me when I am asking my President to return to Nigeria to use our hospitals?

The police officer was touched. He told me I was within my rights and flashed the thumbs up sign, and allowed the #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon to continue. Buhari’s people failed big time!

So, why did I decide to initiate this protest at great personal expense and risk? It is because I believe that General Buhari is not running a government. He is running a criminal enterprise.

This man has been in office for five years. In that time, has budgeted over ₦10 billion Naira for the Aso Rock State House Clinic. This is the equivalent of $27 million. Is that not enough money to build a hospital and train doctors to treat him and other Nigerians? Yet, his wife, Aisha Buhari, admitted that that clinic cannot even provide ordinary paracetamol. Google it.

However, that was not my main reason for initiating the protest. I did it really as a way of seeking closure for the victims of the EndSARS protests, because General Buhari’s spin doctors are going around town misrepresenting the US State Department’s human rights report as a vindication that the Lekki Massacre did not happen.

That is not what the report states. Please read it yourself. The report states that the US was unable to independently verify what happened because the Nigerian authorities prevented anyone from obtaining the facts of the matter.

The report also said that while Amnesty International revealed that ten people died, the Federal Government said no one died, with the Lagos State Government saying only two people died and that that controversy makes it impossible to establish what really happened.

Finally, the report said that at least one corpse was found riddled with bullets and that they could confirm. They also said that another corpse was found with “blunt force trauma”. Nowhere in that report did the US State Department say that the massacre did not happen.

Now, I want my readers to think about this. When General Buhari’s son, Yusuf, was injured in an accident, we prayed for him to get well. I prayed for him. Other Nigerians likewise prayed for Yusuf’s survival. How did Buhari reward us? He sent soldiers to Lekki to kill peaceful, unarmed #EndSARS protesters. These are the children of the men and women who prayed for his son.

Now, after killing peaceful, unarmed EndSARS protesters asking for good governance, he is in London to secure his life and enjoy the benefits of good British governance. My conscience could not stomach it. I had to play my part in the effort to send the coward back home to fix the mess he created.

Only 5% of Nigerians are covered by a doctor. This man forced himself on Nigeria. He promised he would do better than his predecessors, but he has turned Nigeria into the world headquarters for extreme poverty. He has bequeathed us the highest unemployment in the world at 33%. We have the highest number of out of school children at 13.5 million. And having destroyed our economy, he has run to a London that is on COVID19 lockdown to restore his health.

Too many people justify Buhari’s failings by pointing to the failures of past leaders, especially the exaggerated failures of his immediate predecessors.

In fact, when I asked Buhari to return home and use the run-down health facilities he has bequeathed to Nigerians, a young man named Yusuf Abubakar Al Sadiq, asked me rather rudely “Pls mention any standard hospital build by PDP 16yrs in office” (his exact words).

The only National Trauma Centre in Nigeria was built, completed and commissioned by former President Jonathan on August 11, 2014. Former President Jonathan also built cottage hospitals in all of the six geo-political zones.

That same administration also built National Cancer Screening Centers nationwide, including at the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau in Zamfara, The University of Port-Harcourt Teaching Hospital and the National Obstetric Fistula Centre in Abakaliki.

The Jonathan regime modernised the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) and the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan and Built National Trauma Centers at the University of Abuja and the National Hospital also in Abuja and this led to a situation whereby Nigerian hospitals performed their first renal transplant surgery, and other high tech and high skilled surgeries.

In fact, after the upgrade of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, it performed its first stem cell transplant surgery under Jonathan.

However, that is not the point. The Peoples Democratic Party government is gone for now. The All Progressives Congress administration is here. We must stop excusing the failings of the Buhari regime by blaming past administrations.

In case Nigerians have forgotten, the electorate voted for Buhari in 2015 because he said he could do better than the PDP.

I know many Northerners feel some camaraderie with General Buhari. However, they need to search the Quran and read what it says about supporting wrong based on primordial sentiments, like tribe and religion.

Northerners should not just blankety label anyone that is against Muhammadu Buhari as anti-North. Buhari is from the North, but he is not the North. The North is more than Buhari. As a matter of statistical fact, Buhari is not even good for the North.

In terms of human development, the North has fared far worse under Buhari than it did under any other leader bar none. Poverty was existent in the North before Buhari, but it is now extreme poverty. Something like 80% of the extremely poor people in Nigeria are based in the North.

And it is not just poverty. Unemployment is now at record level. Insecurity is now pervasive in the North. Northerners can hardly go to work, whether at farms, offices, or mills. Their children are not safe at school. Their wives are not protected from endemic insecurity even at the market.

No one can sleep with two eyes closed in Northern Nigeria.

In 2010, the Average Life Expectancy in Nigeria was 47 years. Five years down the line, Nigeria's Average Life Expectancy increased to 54 years. Whereas, in 2014, Nigeria made her greatest improvement in improving average life expectancy, life expectancy in Northern Nigeria has gone down, while increasing in other parts of the nation.

With all these happenings, it makes sense to be anti-Buhari if you are pro-development. I was for President Umar Musa Yar’adua. Check my records. I supported him. I very strongly supported Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Atiku is more Northern than Buhari, in that unlike Buhari, he speaks Fufulde.

The truth is that Muhammadu Buhari is only slightly more refined than his marauding herdsmen kinsmen. His cautionary statements about 5% and 97% prove it.

Even if the person throwing a party is your brother, do not go if you’re not invited. It helps you retain and increase your standing. Never assume they forgot to invite you. They invited others. If you are important to them, they would have invited you. Don’t allow free food make you lose your value. Keep a respectful distance from people who dont value you. Use absence to increase your value to them. Call or text on their birthday as a courtesy, even if they don’t call or text you (it shows class), but blank them otherwise. Blanking those who rank you low increases your value to yourself like a bank

Nigerians Storm Buhari’s Residence In UK, Demand his return home (PHOTOS)

As the momentum in London against the Nigerian President Major General Muhammadu Buhari isn't waning anymore, Nigerians in the United Kingdoms will converge on Abuja House Saturday, starting from 12 Noon in Protest against what is termed the irresponsible conduct of Nigeria's leader who is currently in London for his usual medical 'CHECK UP'

As of Friday, Nigerians in London have gained entrance into the hospital ward where BUHARI is reportedly taking treatment! Nigerian citizens in London are "OBEYING NIGERIANS' CALL" attempting to send back Mr. Buhari from London Hospital to the ABUJA'S world class Hospital he commissioned in his dreams.

The Proteste is asking Buhari about the Aso Rock villa Hospital that couldn't boast of PARACETAMOL, the Doctors he is owing salaries and now on strike?

Among those that have arrived for the protest on Friday in the UK camped outside Muhammadu Buhari’s Wellington Hospital location of annual medical check-up with #BuhariMustGo Posters. No rest for the wicked!

BUHARI, You are not fit to reap from where you FAILED to sow. Go back to Nigeria for your treatments and stop WASTING OUR NATIONAL MONEY ON YOUR PERSONAL ISSUES. #BuhariMustGo

Buhari led APC government in Nigeria has failed to deliver on its Electoral promises as the regime becomes lawless without regards for the rules of law and fundamental rights of the citizens to freedom of speech and protests. Many protesters were killed in Lagos, Osun, Oyo states and many other places across the country during the Endsar protest which the Government concealed.

Unemployment and Insecurity are at the highest level under this anti-people regime as the leadership preferred negotiating with terrorists and bandits rather than addressing the critical demands that will alleviate majority and Youths from poverty.
