#IranAttacks: Supreme Leader Khamenei says American were slapped, but such military actions are not enough

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has describes strikes against American bases in Iraq as "a slap in the face."

Iranian Leader said: "Enemies felt humbled by the magnificence of the Iranian nation’s turnout for the funeral of Martyr Soleimani. They may not admit it, but they have no other option but to accept it."

IRGC launched 22 missiles against two US basese in Iraq, a retaliation for the american assassination of the the topmost IRGC commander, Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani in Baghdada, Iraqi capital on Friday.

Iranians welcomed the IRGC strikes on the US base in Iraq which was conducted on Wednesday morning in retaliation to the assassination of the IRGC foreman.

People are showing their happiness by pouring into the streets in cars and chanting religious slogans like “Allah Akbar”.

According to some Arab media, US-led coalition forces are in a rush and US planes are in the fire.

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) targeted the US airbase of Ain al-Assad in Al-Anbar province in western Iraq on Wednesday. The IRGC said in a statement that it would release more details about the strike.

Iranian medias reported 80 people were killed in Iran's missiles strike but the SU president said no casualties so far.

Other NATO coalition menmers Like Norway,and Denmark have issued statement confirming no death or injuries of their troops in the region.

France, Britain and Germany who are also signatories to the Nuclear deal with Iran have separately condemned the attacks on the US bases in Iraq by Iran but have not confirmed any casualty.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei commented on the martyrdom of the great commander of the IRGC’s Quds Forces and said harsh and severe revenge is awaiting the criminals.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister wrote in his Twitter account: “Iran took & concluded proportionate measures in self-defense under Article 51 of UN Charter targeting base from which cowardly armed attack against our citizens & senior officials were launched.”

“We do not seek escalation or war, but will defend ourselves against any aggression,” he added.

IRGC vowed severe responses if American troops dare retaliate following the missile strike against the US bases in Iraq.

Iraqi government also confirmed no casualty on the side of its troops in the country.
