POVERTY CAPITAL OF THE WORLD VERSUS PROSPEROUS ECONOMY

Though it is true that, "the poor you will ALWAYS have with you", as Jesus Christ declared to His Disciples some 2022 years ago, it is totally unacceptable and reprehensible for any sane individual to justify mass poverty in Nigeria in spite of what we have earned as oil revenues since we started commercial exportation of crude oil. We should have created a prosperous economy by now, not the poverty capital of the world we are presently. We are a poor country because of the unconscionable looting of our treasury by military dictators and their civilian counterparts in PDP and APC!

We need Wealth Creators to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari and his team on Monday 29 May 2023, not people who enrich themselves, their spouses, children, in-laws, and cronies, like MC Oluomo, at the expense of the larger society. Peter Obi and Labour Party are the way out the poverty conundrum we are experiencing in Nigeria right now. Diversification of the Nigerian economy and the strengthening of its production capacities for wealth creation are the pathways to an economy of shared prosperity as against an economy of tens of millions of poor citizens, and a few super rich individuals, made up of mostly treasury-looters!
