The Gubernatorial Candidate of the Labour Party in Oyo State, Hon. Tawfiq Tayo Akinwale on Sunday, December 4th, 2022 attended the Igbo Cultural Day event at Liberty Stadium, Ibadan Oyo state.
Speaking at the event, Akinwale iterated that Labour Party remains the only party that acknowledges the leadership traits in the Igbo, giving Peter Obi the platform to run for presidency.
The LP Governorship Candidate also stated that his administration when by God’s grace elected will identify with the Igbo and support them in their productive activities and they shall be carried along in governance.
After congratulating the Eze Ndigbo on the successful occasion, he charged them to support Labour Party at all levels and assured them his readiness to frontier an all inclusive governance in the state.
