Hon. Tawfiq Tayo Akinwale the Labour Party Governorship Candidate on Saturday, December 17, 2022, was unanimously endorsed by the Association of Vulcanizers in Nigeria (AVN) Oyo State Branch, Ibadan General as their candidate for Governor of Oyo State 2023.
The endorsement took place in the Association’s headquarters in Ibadan after Hon. Tawfiq Tayo Akinwale interacted with the leaders of the Association during his visit to the head office.
Local Government Chairmen of the association across the state were present at the meeting. The association houses millions of members across the state.
Speaking at the meeting, members of the Association expressed their acceptance of Hon. Tawfiq Tayo Akinwale of the Labour Party who they claim is part of them given that he was trained as a Vulcanizer in the early stages of his life. Some members confirmed the involvement of Akinwale’s family in the trade and embraced his ambition.
The group also expressed their readiness to work and mobilize for the Governorship ambition of Hon. Tawfiq Tayo Akinwale across the State. They stated that it is their own time to produce a Governor.
This endorsement comes as another testimony that Labour Party and Hon. Tawfiq Tayo Akinwale is gaining more grounds day by day across the state with several groups endorsing and declaring him the right man for the job.
