Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke won't regret reversing those lame-duck appointments. In fact, not reversing those appointments would have been a major regret.
Some of you do not understand politics. He needs to fill those political posts with his own people, just like other similarly situated would have done. Some of those appointments would be reconsidered, but he would like to put his signature on them.
You might not like Adeleke, but Oyetola should be the villain here. Why should I inherit my opponents' men? Why should I allow my opponents' men to run things? I think this is just the beginning of the dismantling of the APC machinery in Osun, which is not unusual, for they have pierced the entire system.
If Adeleke doesn't act aggressively, they will undermine him from within.
I expect him to get into a serious power struggle with the House of Assembly. In Osun, the APC won't go away easily, and they run the risk of undermining their major project: the presidential election.
A different party running the state, after more than 8 years, will jolt the system: and that is what you guys are witnessing.
The entrenched (displaced) power will cry on Facebook and other platforms for the next couple of months: IGNORE THEM.
