BUILDING THE BRICKS IN PAINS AND GAINS: THE LABOUR PARTY OF MY DREAM

The site of a building accommodates many types of workers with different tasks to make an edifice what it is. Their tasks are always in conjunction with the architectural design. Labour Party has been known since its inception to be a party that have been built with bricks and those who lay the bricks laid it on the foundation of posterity, hence, their future is here. The party now houses the best and most competent Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates in 2023 Presidential elections. Moreover, the party now houses credible candidates across board for federal and state positions.

Our fathers have built this party and are still building it in pains, it is time for the gains which cannot be gotten until the ideals of our great party are respected. We cannot get the gains unless we ensure the correct design of what a political party should be. I can say boldly that THE GAINS ARE HERE, but we need to seriously put our house in great shape more than ever before. The gains are here, hence we must build in love and care so that we will not lose it. The gains are here, we must not allow discord to thrive amidst us. We have worked together to achieve so much, the gains are here, we must continue to build. Let reconciliation flow like waters amidst us for the gains are near. The gains are here for all I see is victory, transformation and at its peak inaugurations.

There is a strong hope that Nigeria will experience a new dawn through our efforts, this should be our greatest gain and not playing “dirty politics.” I know the party of my dreams can only present the Nigeria of my dreams, so, I cannot afford to watch my party become ruined with scandals. The party of my dream can only get its gain if what everyone demonstrates and pursues is character and competence at all levels.

I pledge to remain faithful to this struggle and fight to win. Let’s express the change though it may be painful but we shall all gainfully rejoice when the party of our dreams bring up Nigeria to the Nigeria of our dreams. *LET'S FIX IT AND NOT FIGHT.
