1) There is a sharp division between the Northern Elites and their Southern counterpart
2) These division is about which regional warlord steals most. They believe the region that produces the President steals more than the rest hence the office of the President must belong to either the North or South.
3) The ordinary Nigerian does not matter in their reckoning.
4) While the South seems to be bullying with their supposed strong economic base, the North is happy to display their ego based on population, land mass and other demographic indices (they don’t care about the people at all)
5) There seems to be an understanding amongst these elites that Nigeria cannot be developed, so it is about taking what is available now.
6) I am surprised that they have not played the religious card yet. It is obvious it will soon be played as 2023 draws near
Poor Nigerians. May you outlive these heartless elites.
