NIGERIA'S President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Major General Farouk Yahaya as the new Chief Of Army Staff (COAS).
Prior his appointment, Major General Farouk Yahaya was the General Officer commanding 1st Division of the Nigerian Army and incumbent Theater Commander of the Counter Terrorism Counter Insurance of the military in the North East code named operation HADIN KAI.
