#COVID19NIGERIA: NCDC Confirms 242 new cases of Coronavirus in the past day

Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has in the past 24hours covering 11th of May recorded 242 new confirmed cases of #COVID19 across the country.

NCDC recorded 88 new cases in Lagos which is the epicentre of the pandemic in Nigeria, 64 in Kano, 49 in Katsina, home state of the Nigerian President, Major Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd), 13 in Kaduna and 9 in Ogun state

Others, according to the country's centre for disease control are; 6 inGombe, 4 in Adamawa , 3 in FCT, 1 in Ondo, 1 in Oyo, 1 in Rivers, 1 in Zamfara, 1 in Borno and 1-Bauchi state

As of 11:55pm Nigerian Time, a total of 4641 cases of #COVID19 have been recorded in Nigeria.

Discharged: 902

Deaths: 150

The NCDC noted that on the 10th of April 2020, we erroneously announced 2 new deaths in Nasarawa.

There was 1 death in Nasarawa reported on the 10th of April.
