COVID-19: Nigeria records 148 new coronavirus cases as total confirmed cases now top 2900

Nigeria on Wednesday recorded148 new cases of #COVID19 as the total confirmed virus cases in the African most populous nation now in the region of 3,000 according to the latest data release by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The latest date released by the centre revealed that there are:

‪6-Borno‬
‪6-Ogun‬
‪5-Oyo‬
‪3-Edo‬

‪2-Adamawa‬
‪2-Gombe‬
‪1-Plateau‬
‪1-Sokoto‬
‪1-Kebbi‬

‪2950 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria‬
‪Discharged: 481‬
‪Deaths: 98

In terms of the breakdown of confirmed cases by state shows that Lagos, Kano and FCT are leading with 1226, 297 and 307 respectively.

Borno, Gombe Kastina and Ogun followed with 106, 98, 92 and 91 respectively
