COVID-19: Iran death toll rises by 47

In Iran, the death toll from the coronavirus outbreak rose by 47 over the past 24 hours to 6,203, Kianush Jahanpur, the health ministry spokesman, said on state TV on Sunday.

The Islamic republic of Iran is one of the countries in the Middle East hardest hit by the outbreak, has a total of 97,424 cases, he said.
