With Iran's COVID-19 casualties rising to 3,160, Iranian president Hasssan Rouhani warns that the crisis will not end soon
Iran reported another 124 coronavirus deaths on Thursday, and as the country's death toll rises to 3,160, President Rouhani warned that fighting the new pandemic could take years.
Ministry of Health spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour confirmed the latest figures released during a news conference. An additional 3,111 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in the last day, and the total number of COVID-19 cases is 50,468.
