COVOD-19: Atiku's Son tested Positive

The son of a prominent Nigerian Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has been tested positive of the pandemic virus.

Atiku Abubakar, was the former vice president and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the 2019 general election said in a tweet that his son has contacted the ravaging coronavirus. Adding that he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management.

He enjoyed Nigerians to have him (his son) in your prayers, confirming it that coronavirus is real.

Among those who have been sympathising with the former vice president is the first lady Aisha Muhammadu Buhari whose daughter returned four days from highly risk coronavirus country UK, prayed for the quick recovery of the Atiku's son.

The numbers of the confirmed cases in Nigeria now more than 20 as the federal government has also  banned international flights to Lagos and Abuja has Enugu, Kano and Port Harcourt had been closed last week.
Lagos state government has ordered the State civil servants from Grade Level 1-12 to stay at home for the next 14 days with effect from today 23rd of March, 2020.

Osun state which is yet recorded any case has in its precautionary measures closes schools and banned all type of public gathering in the state, including religions and ceremonies events.

Ondo state has also closes schools as the cases of the COVID-29 are confirmed in Lagos, Ekiti, Oyo and Benin states respectively as well as the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.

All other states of the federation have reportedly put in places, measures to prevent and combat the virus epidemic.
