US Senators Lindsey Graham and Van Hollen say they will vigorously pursue legislation to impose sanctions on Turkey despite a ceasefire in Syria.

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey had agreed to a pause for 120hrs to let Kurdish forces withdraw from a “safe zone.”

Another U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich has said onder this so-called ceasefire, Kurdish forces and their families face the impossible choice of fleeing their homes or being ethnically cleansed. Assad's adviser Buseyne making statement about the deal between the US and Turkey. The safe zone is wrong, this is the occupation, Erdoğan is the invader in our lands. We are looking to get back Afrin, Jarabulus and Idlib.
