Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala is dead.
The Former Governor of Oyo State and Ogbomoso born politician was announced dead this morning.
The details and causes of his death could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report, however, sources from Ogbomoso confirmed that Akala returned from Abuja yesterday where he has attended a political meeting.
A closy associate via a telephone conversation said Akala watched the Nigeria's Super Eagles match against the Pharos of Egypt yesterday at home. And that he was unable to attend Abuja meetings.
Speaking from the home the former Oyo State Governor, he said Akala has just been taken to mortuary.
