#ENDSARS ANNIVERSARY BULLETIN NO.
We are a broad coalition of radical and left Organisations active in the #EndSARS mass movement nationwide and globally.
Today, 20th October, 2021, we will be holding #EndSARS Anniversary Marches nationwide and globally to commemorate the first anniversary of the #EndSARS mass movement that broke out a year ago on the streets of Nigeria.
It will be recalled that exactly a year ago today, operatives of the Nigerian Army opened fire on peaceful and innocent protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos in what the world has noted to be an horrendous massacre.
There have been denials, cover ups and falsification of facts surrounding this horrendous massacre. However, the truth continue to shine like the Northern Star.
Despite 12 months of sitting and investigating the horrendous event, the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for SARS-Related Abuses and Other Matters became armstrung by its creating authority, the Governor of Lagos State, which denied it the extension of life of its tenure, upon which it could not provide a Report of Investigation into the Lekki Massacre.
Undoubtedly, justice is yet to be served for the dead and the slain. We have no other choice, today , 20th October, 2021 in remembering our Martyrs than to demand Justice on their behalf.
We are prepared to sustain our compelling agitations through peaceful processions within our fundamental rights to same.
