Yes, the situation in Nigeria is very tense across the country and more tensed in the East of Nigeria at the moment because a faction of the ruling class having Buhari at the head, with others in the same class, have compunded the fears of uncertainty and the general stateof insecurity coupled with the continuing and extreme situation of poverty and deprivation, which are glaringly decernible on the faces of the working people and oppressed poor masses walking the streets to get something to bite/ eat, just to survive till the following day/ moment!
The fears are such that all over the country, there are conflicting reports subject to diverse interpretations and depending from which side of the ethnically-minded/ religion groups and the individuals the narrative is coming from! As a matter of FACT, the reality in Nigeria is such that the POLITY IS NOT ETHINICALLY &RELIGIONLY NEUTRAL!
Everyone now talks war, war & war. But everyone has her or his reasons to war but all the cries of war and war without clear understanding of the war to fight and the direction to fight will end up in monumental destruction! Ethnic war in Nigeria will lead to senseless destruction! Religious war will lead to senseless destruction! YES, THERE SHOULD BE A WAR TO FIGHT IN NIGERIA!
THE WAR TO FIGHT IN NIGERIA IS A LIBERATION STRUGGLE BY THE CLASS OF THE POOR AGAINST THE CLASS OF THE FEW RICH WHO LOOT THE ECONOMY AND MAKE THE COUNTRY SUBSERVIENT TO & MANIPULATED BY INTERNATIONAL CAPITAL!
The war that the poor and oppressed classes must wage decisively to end the tyranny of ruling class of exploiters, who have been responsible for the poverty, joblessness, lack of healthcare, in short, neglect of the welfare of the Nigerian people Nigeria is the Class war! That is the war of the poor masses, of the unemployed millions of youth, of the working population in public and private sectors employment who have been reduced to starvation wages, destitution and penury! It should be a war of the women and the aged who live in starvation and hunger without decent means of livelihood against the class of the rich who have been looting the country since the 1960 Flag independence that Nigeria was given till date! It should be a War of all in Nigeria who are under one form of injustice, oppression and domination against the ruling class rogues and their political, religion and cultural jobbers. That is the war to fight. And to fight this kind of war requires correct understanding of what the issues are? The Class of the poor needs to unite in their organisations and associations! They need to unite and fight together against council officials who extort them on a daily basis, fight as a collective against police harassment and brutalities, need to fight government and their agencies at all levels that deny the workers and all categories of the poor masses, access to basic necessities of decent living – education, healthcare, social welfare, housing and sanitation, safe water and uninterrupted electricity at cost that is commensurate to the poor wages they receive or income they earn, etc!
YES, OUR PROBLEM REQUIRES A REVOLUTION! BUT WHAT REVOLUTION?
THE REVOLUTION DESIRED SHOULD BE THE OVERTHROWN OF THE UNJUST SYSTEM OF CAPITALIST ARRANGEMENT OF SOCIETY & ITS REPLACEMENT WITH A JUST SYSTEM!
• IS THE REVOLUTION WE WANT JUST ABOUT EVERYONE COMING OUT, GROUDING THE COUNTRY TO A HALT AND WAILING ON THE STREETS: WE NO GO GREE, WE NO GO GREE?
- NO, IT IS NOT!
• THE REVOLUTION TO STRUGGLE FOR SHOULD FOCUS ON BRINGING ABOUT A NEW & JUST SYSTEM OF RECONSTRUCTING NIGERIA IN A WAY THAT THE COUNTRY’S ECONOMY & WEALTH IS UNDER THE COLLECTIVE CONTROL AND DEMOCRATIC MANAGEMENT OF THE WORKING PEOPLE AND POOR MASSES!
• BUT TO ACHIVE THIS, THE CLASS OF THE POOR (ORGANISATIONS OF THE WORKERS, FARMERS, POOR WOMEN & TRADERS, YOUTH & STUDENTS, ACADEMICS & PROFESSIONALS, OPPRESSED & MARGINALISED PEOPLE AND OTHERS, WHO SUFFERE UNDER THIS UNJUST SYSTEM MUST OPEN THEIR SENSES, OPEN THEIR EYES, OPEN THEIR EARS & OPEN THEIR MOUTHS (AS FELA ANIKULAPO-KUTI ABAMI EDA SING AM LONG LONG TIME AGO), MUST UNITE AND ORGANISE TO END THIS UNJUST SYSTEM THAT WOULD ALWAYS THROW UP DISASTROUS RULERS LIKE BUHARI IN NIGERIA & HIS LIKES, IN ALMOST ALL OVER THE PAN-AFRICAN WORLD!
• THIS CAN BE ACHIEVED ONLY WHEN THE POOR AND OPPRESSED CLASSES REMOVE THE CLASS OF RICH OPPRESSORS WHO ARE MISRULING THE COUNRY TOWARDS DISASTER AND COLLAPSE!
WHO ARE THE RICH CLASS IN NIGERIA TO FIGHT?
• The rich class to fight in Nigeria are both local and international. At the Nigeria level, they are the rulers who loot the country, who sponsored bandits and miscreants to silence the poor, who used public offices to convert our collective patrimony to their private ownership by taking over electricity, making our refineries not to work, using the policies of privatisation to covert public properties to their own. They are very few but very powerful and influential because they use the funds stolen from our collective wealth to corrupt the society!
WJO ARE THE POOR CLASS?
• Workers and all categories of working people and poor masses in Nigeria and their likes in other places across the world who are under the rule and domination of the rich class
