I dont want to copy and go too far into our chequered history like Lai Muhammed Minister of Information who claimed Nigeria's security challenges are a consequence of the 1975 coup d’état. So I will focus on our 4th Republic from 1999 till date and use that as my indices for assessment
Unarguably, Muhammadu Buhari administration is the worst when compared to other leaders from Olusegun Obasanjo to Umaru Musa Yar'adua and Goodluck Jonathan who handed the baton to the incumbent.
We need to state the fact, it has been a downward spiral in Nigeria on the people elected as our leaders. If we use collated data and indices to assess each leader from 1999 using ability, competence, foresight, governance and leadership as parameters.
Olusegun Obasanjo's tenure was about average, Umaru Yar'adua below average, Goodluck Jonathan fairly poor and the best at doing nothing and coming from the rear is actually the incumbent who is largely aloof, totally incompetent, unnecessarily obdurate, very sectional, lacking both mental capacity and physical capability to be a leader of a big nation like Nigeria
Unfortunately, there are hordes of muppets and simpletons out there who are his ardent supporters and will argue that his stewardship is the best thing to happen to Nigeria, truly I reckon they are addicted to colorado mixed with "omi gutter" and sniffing the pungent air oozing from soakaway pits to get their fix
