HAS FAILURE GONE TO YOUR HEAD?

When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount, bury the horse and get a living horse. However, in Nigeria/Africa, more ADVANCED strategies are often employed, such as:

*Buying a stronger whip

*Appointing a committee to study the horse

 

*Changing riders

*Arranging to visit other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses.

*Lowering the standards so that the dead horse can be included.

*Re-classifying the dead horse as "living impaired".

*Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse.

*Harnessing several dead horses together to increase speed.

*Providing additional funding to increase dead horse's performance.

*Rewriting the expected performance requirement for all horses.

*Promoting the dead horse to supervisory position.

And when the youths ask questions, you complain and call them bad youth everyday, and it's true they're bad but are you good?

Most of the reason why we (youths) work much with very little results is because most of our leaders are leading us with just WAEC results.

Most of them, want other people to change and keep quite especially those they have and or perceived as their enemies, they give them appointment as commissioner or chairman of bandits amnesty committee or chairman school children adopted and realize committee, chairman kidnappers negotiation committee or better still chairman cow is better than human life committee.

Your old age supposes to be a blessing to us but we did not learn anything good from it. As a leader, you should be able to change the youths and influence them for better future. Note that you will not change the youth unless you change first and stop using your position to fight your old enemies. It is that change in you that will change the people around you.

Youth are the future of this world, they are called the salt and the light of the world because those two elements-salt and light are incorruptible in all circumstances. They influence, they're never easily influenced. 

Remember that no leader can influence his or her environment unless they are manifesting their election promises with love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control like Nigeria was doing in her inception.

As a leader, you should have known all that's causing havoc in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large are: Political instability, Hatred, Tribalism, Racism, Sexual abuse, Sickness and Disease, Corruption, Drunkenness, Immortality, Slavery, witchcraft and Sorcery, Selfishness, Nepotism etc are as a result of man in power disobeying God.

And for any leader to be able to punish or kill innocent youths/human being for disobedience, you as a leader must be obedient to God, rule of law, and respect human rights, will not be calling some criminals and some bandits, herdsmen or kidnappers. Constitutionally they are all criminals. Though we know that the devil cannot punish itself!

You as a leader, can't harbor Boko Haram, Herdsmen with AK47 that kidnaps, maim and kill innocent farmers in their farm and went ahead to bomb orlu people who did not cross their boundaries.
