TOPIC: WAR AGAINST THE ERRORS AND UNGODLINESS OF
THE END TIME IN OUR FAMILIES TODAY
TEXT: 1 JOHN 2:15-17
INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE FOR EFFECTIVE PRAYER
1 John 2:15-17 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the
Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world.
And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever”.
It is never a joke and not to be handled with easy ride way of life, the errors and ungodliness of the end time in the families. Parents and guidance own a responsibility of winning their wards to Christ
nurturing them in the fear of God and upholding tenet of good moral conduct.

There are lots of side attractions nowadays, attracting and instructing members of our family without our consent, even while we are sitting together in our sitting room. Errors are the contrary way of life by someone and this is already spreading far and deep in people’s life.
The ungodliness of our time is of high order and it has it’s root in family because every office holder either circular or spiritual is from a family. Some parents had turned every duty of parenting to their children school teachers. You will hear them saying I will tell your Aunty, what a great error!
Noah family escaped the error and ungodliness of their time. Gen.
7:1 “Then the LORD said to Noah, "Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation”.
Abraham was testified to by God that he would train his household in the fear of God. gen. 18:17-19. We have no excuse and we can’t afford to fail, we must be ready to do the needful –
- Spear not rod where necessary
- Preach and teach to your household the word for - it is your
first church
- Compare your family not with any other family except the
word of God
- Provide and be good (approachable) to your family
- Pray always for your family
- Do necessary correction early without any delay
- Every member of your family should be heavenly conscious
Hence, we hope for a better family in each GOFAMINT member’s
house. Rom. 13:14 “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts”.
Prayer Points
1. Father we give thanks to your Holy name for the love you have for our families
2. Thank you father for adequate provision you are providing for each family.
3. Thank you Lord for the salvation given to us in our family
4. Almighty God, kindly forgive all our sins because of the blood of Jesus
5. In Jesus name, father I reject the spirit of error and ungodliness in every member’s family
6. Power of pollution polluting our family; be destroyed now in Jesus name
7. Holy-Ghost, in Jesus name release into our lives purity and power from on high
8. We receive thirst for holiness in Jesus name
9. The power that single out Noah’s family, single my family out from destruction and earthly pollution.
10. We decree, end time waves of destruction will have no power over our family any longer.
11. O God, help me as you helped Abraham with good report concerning his family.
12. Declare to yourself the end time arrow of sin will not hit me inJesus name
13. Every agent of darkness promoting ungodliness and error is destroyed in Jesus name.
14. Father, help us to please you with our lives and make heaven at last with all members of our families in Jesus name.
