FAMILY VIGIL: IN THE DAY OF HIS POWER
DAY 2: MONDAY 11TH JANUARY, 2021
FOCUS: PRESERVATION AND ALL ROUND PROGRESS IN THE FAMILY
TEXTS: PSALMS 91, 90:17
Psalm 91:1-4 “1 ¶ He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler”.
Isaiah 44:8 “Do not fear, nor be afraid; Have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is
there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.'"
Fear not is a word from God to His children in various locations.
There will always be quick response from above in crucial moments. You need not to fear because you have God. (Isaiah 54:8,10)
Fear not, He will preserve your family.
Fear not, He will heal you.
Fear not, He will deliver you from your enemy.
Fear not, He will fight your foes.
Fear not, He will chase away darkness from your camp.
All round progress is promised by Jesus Christ in John 10:10.
Abundant life is all round progress, it covers physical, spiritual and financial buoyancy. Let God arise and command prosperity to this family. With God’s intervention, progress will flow from parental sources of income to the children. The God we serve is able to preserve us and make our family progressive.
Genesis 12:2
Every member of this family will enjoy great preservation and unhindered progress from now henceforth.
Prayer Points
1. We give thanks to God who have been our preserver ever since.
2. Thanks be to God for the progress being recorded in our family.
3. Thanks to God over the children career and over the parental
sources of income.
4. Thanks for the past healing and victory.
5. Thanks for the light of God in this family.
6. Forgive us father, for all our short comings.
7. O God, let this family be preserved from all evil attackers.
8. God, let agents of darkness against this family be destroyed.
9. Preserve us all from accident on our roads, in the air, on water and at home in Jesus name.
10. In Jesus name, all-round progress is established in this family from today henceforth.
11. Our door of progress is opened as a family.
12. Your door of progress is opened, pray this prayer for each family member.
13. List the needs of the family and pray about them.
14. O God, let this family bring progress to the church of God (GOFAMINT) in Nigeria and beyond.
