17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
MESSAGE:
God loves commandos because a lot of His work can be done through them.
Christian commandos do not have to be monitored closely by their Pastors to achieve their deliverables. They are always hungry for even more. Paul was a commando. He knew his assignment was to spread the gospel around the world and he never relented. Even in dangerous situations, he still went about preaching (Acts 21:1-6).
How many souls have you won in the last six months? If missionaries in hostile environments still preach, even in the face of death, you don’t have any excuse not to preach the gospel to people around you.
Sometimes ago, I was invited to preach outside Nigeria. I was talking with my host when he told me of a man called Cobra- a cultist who was also very rich and well-connected. He was indeed a terror in the land, so no one dared to confront him. The more he talked about Cobra, the more I wanted to preach to him. Eventually, I asked him to arrange for me to meet the man. My host was alarmed. He said “Sir, he could kill you if you dare talk about Jesus to him.” However, I insisted on him setting up the meeting.
On the D-day, I met with Cobra and said "Sir, the Lord has sent me to tell you that your cup is full and He is about to bring judgement on you.” Within minutes, Cobra was on his knees. In the end, not only did I come out alive, I did so with a new soul won for my Lord.
Will you run away at the slightest treat or forge ahead to do whatever God asks of you?
*“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve… but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”* Joshua 24:1
As for me and my household, we will be Commandos for Christ. What about you?

Father, please help me to be a Commando for You, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Today is the sixteenth day in this month of double grace, I pray that the grace of God shall be made sufficient in your life and family, for you all to fulfill purpose, live peacefully and be comfortable in Jesus Name.
i) The best way to start a new day is to appreciate God for taking you safely through the night to the breaking of the new day. Thanking God for the joy of being part of the newness of each day and in particular this day of assured victory in this month of double grace, in songs of praises and in a grateful heart onto the Lord for sparing your life still.
ii) Take each new day as it unfolds as a special gift of the Lord and look only onto the Lord for continued manifestation of His great grace in your life and ask for divine guidance on running through each day victoriously.
iii) Look onto the Lord God, your Maker, the Creator of Heaven and the Earth, to grant you divine direction for outstanding success on each day. You must understand that you need God in whatever you are doing at all times.
iv) Be mindful of the fact that each new day comes with loads of new opportunities and mounting challenges and it is only God that can strengthen you to be victorious therein, so be ever conscious that you need God, so you must seek Him out each and every day of your existence.
Therefore look up only onto to the Lord after giving Him praises and pouring out your heart of gratitude onto Him, more so on a day like today, the end of another working week in the month of double grace:
- Father, please teach me how to seek and find You so as to commit my ways onto You everyday of my life in Jesus Name.
- Father, as I look up onto You this day Oh Lord, please grant me special favour and divine direction to wade through this day, week, month and year gloriously and victoriously in Jesus Name.
- Father, please let me enjoy Your goodness and mercy all the remaining days of my life and grant that my help shall always come from You at all times, all the remaining days of my life in Jesus Name.
- Father, please grant me divine guidance to my prepared location of blessings and uncommon favour for special breakthrough before this month runs out in Jesus Name.
- Father, in mercy, please continue to keep watch over me and my entire household wherever we shall go in the journey of life all through this month and always in Jesus Name.
- Father, please provide shade for me, my family members and all my loved ones, against the harshness of physical and spiritual weathers of this world in Jesus Name.
- Father, please shield me and my entire household against pestilence, diseases and afflictions, ravaging the entire world under whatever name and whatever magnitude in Jesus Name.
- Father, please preserve me and all my loved ones from all evil of each day, as we journey along in this dangerous and wicked world in Jesus Name.
- Father, please make me and all my family members candidates of Your mercy and special favour this month again and always in Jesus Name.
- Father, please grant that the blessings of God for this week, month and year, shall be our portion in my family wherever we are located in Jesus Name.
- Father, for me, my family and loved ones, please preserve our going out and coming in, from this glorious day and even forever more in Jesus Name.
- Father, please deliver our souls from destruction and crown our heads with Your Glory in Jesus Name.
- Father, please cause everything You have created to work for our advantage and in our favour in my family in Jesus Name.
- Father, please grant that Your grace shall be made sufficient for me and my family members and let each and everyone of us continue to enjoy divine assistance and uncommon favour in all areas of our lives in Jesus Name.
- Father, please envelope me and my entire household in Your mercy and special favour this new day of assured victory and comfort, with Your able hand, uphold us in glory till the end in Jesus Name.
Since God is the Creator of times and seasons and He is very much delighted in your wellbeing every moment of your life, it is therefore a wise thing to always look up onto Him over everything at all times. Bear in mind that God is abundantly able to deliver and to save, and that He has made divine provisions for you ahead of the time, having created the Heaven and the Earth and all the components therein ahead of you, so your seeking His face will only make it much easier for you to receive your own help and portion at all times, even in the face of the current global coronavirus pandemic.
As you look up onto the Lord this day, you shall neither be disappointed nor put to shame in Jesus Name. Help shall locate you from far and near, known and unknown places in Jesus Name.
Trust in the Lord God Almighty and you shall not be put to shame in Jesus Name.
