How Haftar LNA deployed ballistic missiles to defend Sirte from Turkish-backed forces - Video

Egyptian military Monitoring Libya Situations

The Libyan National Army (LNA) was filmed moving ballistic missiles to the strategic city of Sirte, as the Turkish-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) forces continue to build up their troops east of Misrata.

According to reports, the Libyan National Army moved their SCUD-B missiles to Sirte in order to protect the city from the impending GNA offensive in north-central Libya.

In the video that was shared on social media, the Libyan National Army’s transport trucks can be seen moving these missiles into Sirte to strengthen the city’s defenses and ward off any future attacks.

The Libyan National Army has already warned the GNA that they will not hand over Sirte, despite Turkey’s demands that the LNA surrender the city.

Furthermore, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has warned the GNA and Turkey that should Sirte and Al-Jafra fall, Cairo has “international legitimacy” to intervene inside Libya.

Since Sisi’s statement, the Egyptian military has been monitoring the developments around Sirte in case the city falls to the Turkish-backed forces. AMN
