COVID-19: UK death figures rise by 621

The United Kingdom's death toll from the coronavirus rose by 621 to 4,934 on April 4, the health ministry said on Sunday.

Queen Elizabeth II will make special broadcast at 1900 GMT Sunday (today), the Palace confirmed on Friday.

The Queen will address the nation in a TV broadcast  amid the ravaging coronavirus pandemic that has killed thousands with many more infected in UK.

When she makes an extremely rare address to rally the nation today, the Queen of England is expected to call on Britons to show the same resolve as their forebears and take on the challenge and disruption caused by the coronavirus outbreak with good-humoured resolve.

The UK PM Boris Johnson is till in self-Isolation.
