Agidigbo Radio, Nigeria's Number 1 Yoruba speaking online radio got burnt into ashes on Saturday 11th of April 2020.
The incident started around 11:05am Nigerian time. It was just some minutes to the commencement of a popular current affairs program, "Oro to nlo" by Ibraheem Akinpelu.
The Radio is located @ Suit 27, mojoyinola house opp. Akinwale Eleja, Monatan, Iwo-road, Ibadan, Oyo state.
The fire affected the Radio room and the office of Alhaji Dr Abdrahmon Oriyomi Hamzat who is the founder and chairman of the online station.
Nothing was to be found including the documents and more after the inferno as the project of millions of Naira was exhausted in the fire incident in just in an hour
Attempt to safe the day for the station by the fire fighter was to late for the online radio station.
The cause of the fire incident has not been known.
