Over 2,600 infected with coronavirus were detected in the Armed Forces and military educational institutions of the Russian Federation from March to April 29. Such data are provided in the bulletin of the Russian Ministry of Defense on Wednesday.
"During the continuous testing in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from March to April 29 this year, 1,044 military personnel were installed with positive results," the document says.
In addition, 1,075 infected military personnel, cadets and students were detected in military universities, and in 277 teachers and pupils a coronavirus test was positive in pre-university educational institutions. The armed forces also contracted the virus with 279 civilian personnel.
Among the military personnel - two people in serious condition, including one person using mechanical ventilation (ALV), in a moderate state - 11 people, the rest - without symptoms of the disease.
As of April 28, 2,537 infected with coronavirus infection were detected in the army and military educational institutions of the Russian Federation.
Treatment
Currently 332 patients in the armed forces are being treated in the hospitals of the Ministry of Defense, 253 people are in isolation centers at the duty station, and eight people in civilian medical facilities. Another 451 people were isolated at home, 82 people were cured.
Of the military personnel, cadets and students of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Defense, 404 people are treated in hospitals of the military department, 548 people in isolation centers at the duty station, 14 people in civilian medical institutions, 109 people in isolation at home. Their condition is normal, the disease proceeds without symptoms.
In pre-university educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense, 19 teachers and pupils are being treated in hospitals of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, 66 students have been removed from control as healthy, after 15 days of quarantine, 10 people are being treated in civilian medical institutions. 248 people are isolated in rest houses of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. Their disease proceeds without symptoms, the state of health is assessed as normal.
Out of the number of civil servants, 29 are undergoing treatment in hospitals of the Ministry of Defense, in medical institutions of the civil health system - 34 people, isolated at home - 203 people. 13 people are isolated in the department’s rest homes.
