COVID-19: Lagos state to close down all public and private schools by Monday, 23rd March 2020

In Nigeria, Lagos State Government has ordered the closing down of all public and private schools from Monday, 23rd March 2020 as Nine Northern Nigerian states have also shut down schools for a month. 

This is to reduce the spread of Coronavirus in the states.

Authorities in Lagos has also banned all religious gathering of more than 50 people. There are currently six confirmed cases of the COVID-19 in Nigeria’s commercial capital.
