Suddenly, things have changed globally, price of petrol in every country is going down, pollution by emissions into the atmosphere from hydrocarbon fossils powered vehicles and industrial engines has gone down, people have time for each other, families are united more. Parents are with their children and folks are spending more time now with loved ones. Work is actually no more a priority, no more busy schedules, travels and going on vacations not a necessity anymore, attending church services and going to mosques for prayers cancelled, pilgrimages to Jerusalem and Mecca stopped
The supermarkets shelves are empty of groceries even if you have the money you cannot buy, everyone understand the value of the word equality now. We realize that we are all in the same boat, either rich or poor, indigent or affluent, haves and haves not.
Hospitals are filled up, with many afflicted, Presidents, Prime Ministers and world leaders infected and quarantined. Whether you are on Forbes rich list or dirt poor you are under the mercy of Coronavirus, having a lot of money is pointless now.
Penchant for luxury items now in back burner, driving Aston Martin, Maserati, Rolls Royce or "gwura gwura" (jalopy). Rocking designer labels from Armani, Versace, Stella McQueen, Louis Vuitton or buying shoes from Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, and Salvatore Ferragamo makes no difference today because you really have nowhere to go, everywhere is on lockdown
In only one month between February and now, Coronavirus established the social equality that we all claimed its restoration is impossible. We're all in the same boat anyway, so let's come together once this crisis and pandemic is over, and try to remember that we are all equal in the presence of our maker the God almighty
Now the whole world will surely understand the true meaning of the world egalitarianism, political leaders will do their possible best to have it enshrined in their consciousness and actions going forward
