Chelsea vs Arsenal: we can score more goals from all areas of the pitch - Lampard

As the Blues and Gunners clashed tomorrow,  Frank Lampard has said his team can scores as many as possible goals against the their opponents from any direction on the pitch.

It is a rare Tuesday Premier League fixture for the Blues this week and it comes only three-and-a-half weeks after they won the reverse fixture at Arsenal in their final game of  2019. 

Tuesday's encounter takes place at Stamford Bridge . Kick-off is 8.15pm UK time.

Chelsea Coach Frank Lampard starts with an update on Reece James, who has an injury to the back of his knee area. It's not as bad as first feared and he is in contention for tomorrow's game. Marcos Alonso is fit again and will be in the squad.

Lampard says there is nothing imminent in terms of incoming transfers. On talk Edinson Cavani wants to leave PSG, Lampard says he is a player he admires.

Chelsea Manager said he will always defend his players, including Kepa who has come in for criticism after Saturday's goal. 'He can improve as much as all the team can improve'.

"we can score more goals from all areas of the pitch, including midfield and out wide."

 He adds "as a team we need to improve our conversion rate because we are not struggling to create opportunities."

Arsenal have won two of their last 16 Premier League meetings with Chelsea.
