Bolivian authorities bring down a statue of former Bolivian President Evo Morales from a stadium in the state of Cochabamba, the indigenous leader's former electoral stronghold, according to a AFP Source.

The Ministry of Sports of Bolivia according to CC Spanish, on Monday withdrew a bust of former president Evo Morales from the exterior of a stadium in Quillacollo, in Cochabamba, and announced the name change of the sports scene.

“The Minister of Sports, Milton Navarro, by ministerial resolution, changed the name of the Olympic Sports Center‘ Evo Morales ’of Quillacollo, which is now called the Olympic Sports Center of Quillacollo,” the ministry said in a statement.

“We have to be clear, we have to mention it, the infrastructures that have been built with state resources should not bear the name of a dictator, they should not bear the name of a criminal,” Navarro said while removing the bust.
