@realDonaldTrump: We defeated 100% of the ISIS Caliphate and no longer have any troops in the area under attack by Turkey, in Syria. We did our job perfectly. Turkey is attacking the Kurds, who have been fighting each other for 200 years.

Turkey On Wednesday launched a long-planned military operation in northeastern Syria, targeting the Syrian Kurdish fighters that helped the United States defeat ISIS.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced via Twitter  that the incursion has begun, with a mission to "prevent the creation of a terror corridor across our southern border." The move comes just days after U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement that American troops would withdraw from the region and hand control to the Kurds' sworn enemy, the Turkish government.
