Abba Kyari Again!

In a few days, I will add another year. I am supremely unhappy about the state of my country of birth. I am past denial now, I have quit bargaining. At my age, I am under no illusion that I will see a new Nigeria. I have accepted the reality. IT WILL GET WORSE.

Abba Kyari placed his daughter on N32million salary at the NSIA according to the Nigerian Pilot. This is President Buhari's Chief of Staff. In places where there is accountability and responsibility, Abba Kyari will never be a local government chairman.
His record as the Managing Director of UBA was disastrous. In other countries, he would have ended up in jail. In Nigeria, the Central Bank gave him a slap on the wrist. He was banned from working in Banking for 15 years. In all of Northern Nigeria, with young brains and scholars like Abba Gumel, Yakubu Aliyu, it is incomprehensible that anyone will choose a brilliant failure like Abba Kyari for the position of Chief of Staff.

Since October of 2017, I was convinced that Buhari is only holding his position on behalf of a cabal. He is essentially a ceremonial president who interest lies ONLY in the pomp and ceremony of power as opposed to governance.

The international economy is sailing into a slowdown, just 15 to 18 months away. We have to make big decisions about a finance minister and a competent Central Bank governor in order to work out the counter - cyclical measures essential to face the storm. The play acting and clowning around in the Presidency is becoming offensive. As a brilliant young journalist, Karl Marx observing the implosion of the republic under the watch of Louis Napoleon Bonaparte observed "we are descending from tragedy into farce ". Marx described Louis Napoleon Bonaparte as a "grotesque imitation of his illustrious uncle ". Nigeria under Buhari is the same. Buhari and his Cabal are a grotesque parody of leadership.

What we are seeing is beyond sad. These people are orchestrating and presiding over a tragic unraveling. Fasten your seat belts.
